A unique piece hand-made in Quorn from timber sourced as locally as possible. The 48x48mm legs are made from solid European oak, together with the 100x36mm apron. The legs bolt to the apron using stainless steel and galvanised steel fittings. The seat slats are cut from English larch, and planed to 140x28mm then secured to the apron using recessed corrosion resistant screws.
1080mm wide, 430mm deep, and 478mm tall. The 450mm legs can be unbolted with a 13mm spanner for transit, when it then all fits within 1080mm x 430mm x 128mm. Great for outdoor use. Suitable for use with 2 seater outdoor cushion. 18.5kg. One of the legs has developed a small crack (as oak is prone to do), but this doesn't affect the strength.
Treated with 1 coat of uv decking oil. Some of the pictures show a gloss finish, but the oil will dry to matt, as in the first photo.
