A unique piece hand-made in Quorn from timber sourced as locally as possible. The 50x50mm legs are made from solid European oak, as well as the 180x28mm apron. The legs bolt to the apron using stainless steel and galvanised steel fittings. The oak for the apron is made using reclaimed oak sleepers (somewhat spalted), planed and edges rounded over. Hardwood dowels approx 12mm thick support the pre-owned plastic tray, yet allow rain water through. New 50mm swivel wheels (light duty) are secured on each leg.
Model 9957 is 1075mm wide, 473mm deep, and 690mm tall.
Model 9958 is 1065mm wide, 470mm deep and 700mm tall. The tray here is a snug fit, and will require the tray to be inserted before the last 2 legs are bolted down.
The legs can be unbolted with a 13mm spanner for transit. The tray is a standard size of 1000x400mm.
Treated with 1 coat of natural decking oil, which allows the history and character of this timber to be seen.
