Hand-made in Quorn from timber sourced as locally as possible. English Larch legs, reclaimed softwood, and a couple of antique sock stretchers, planed, tongue and grooved, then glued and pinned together.
The sock stretcher slats have a lovely patina after years of use, and makes a great contrast with the lighter coloured frame. The feet from the sock stretcher are placed at the bottom of the box as a base. Ideal to store a couple of pairs of shoes - maybe even socks...
